Troubleshooting (browser)

Browser cannot be connected

Please ensure that you are using a browser from the list of tested browsers:

  • Chrome (Windows/Mac/Android)
  • Chromium (Windows/Linux)
  • Firefox (Windows/Mac/Linux)
  • Edge (Windows)  

In your browser settings, check that push notifications are enabled.

Browser notifications are not displayed

Check if your operating system blocks browser notifications. To do so, proceed as follows:

Windows 10

Check that notifications are enabled for your browser. To do so, proceed as follows:

  1. Press the button Start and then Settings.
  2. Switch to System -> Notifications and actions. 
  3. Find your browser (e.g. Chrome) in the list of applications.
  4. Make sure that notifications are enabled for your browser.

Mac

Check if notifications are enabled for your browser. To do so, proceed as follows:

  • Open the system preferences under Finder (Apple icon) -> System settings.
  • Switch to Messages.
  • Find your browser (e.g. Chrome) in the list of applications.
  • Activate the option Allow message from <Browsername>.
  • Set the Banner or Notes option as the notes style. 

Android 9

  • Open Settings.
  • Switch to Apps.
  • Go to Apps again.
  • Select your browser (Chrome).
  • Switch to Notifications.
  • Enable Allow Notifications.

Android 10

  • Open Settings.
  • Switch to Apps & Notifications.
  • Select Notifications.
  • Enable notifications for your browser (Chrome).
